Who made a suppressor for the MP5SD?
Curtis Higgins (S&H of OK) made SD suppressors that were user serviceable. Don’t know if he still does. Keep in mind the original MP5SD was designed in a time when heavy subsonic ammo was not a thing. The barrel porting was designed to bring 115gr ammo down to subsonic velocity.
What is the best suppressor for the money?
Knights Armament (KAC) SD suppressor is IMO the best and also most collectible and most rare. This is also made of all stainless steel but very difficult to find and is expensive. To my knowledge this is the one civilian available suppressor that was actually used in the military.
