Happily, this hand-ground dual action tanto has a DLC (diamond like carbon) finish, so even though the polish is particularly fine, its treatment helps you preserve its integrity. The handle is made from an expertly milled carbon fiber weave, with fine coppery glints for the lightning, and titanium. You can either deploy the blade using the comfortable thumb hole, or slide the hidden front scale release to achieve lightning-fast speed and power.
