The Smith & Wesson M&P OTF offers spring assisted single-action deployment with a press of the thumb slide. A locking feature at the top of the handle releases the blade for manual closing. Once open, the knife is a capable EDC/tactical cutting tool, and because of its out-the-front nature, it offers a double-edge blade. As an added perk, launching that assisted mechanism is a ton of fun!
